An e-mail I got from Greg Dupree about this subject "You will find with the power level of over 400RWHP that the trans will slide into second and hit the rev limiter while trying to shift to second gear. If you drive it this way very long you will find it gets worse very quickly and before long the valve body will stick and burn up the trans. If you want to keep the trans fore awhile you will want to keep from letting the car shift at full throttle"When my other Z runs again I will go with the 4.10 gears from leadergear.It will be easier on the tranny,As I am going to have the same problem as you.
